Google Drive Integrations
Google Drive is a cloud based storage platform that lets users access their data, including files of any format, from any device or application that connects to the internet.
Drive offers users 15 gigabytes of free storage through Google One. Google One also offers 100 gigabytes, 200 gigabytes, 2 terabytes, 10 terabytes, 20 terabytes, and 30 terabytes offered through optional paid plans. Files uploaded can be up to 5 terabytes in size. Users can change privacy settings for individual files and folders, including enabling sharing with other users or making content public. On the website, users can search for an image by describing its visuals, and use natural language to find specific files, such as “find my budget spreadsheet from last December”.
Integrate Google Drive and Slack
Workload allows you to automate your Google Drive tasks by using conversational AI through Slack (or our own web chat interface) seamlessly and easily within 30 seconds of authorizing your API. It is super easy to get up and running. No code required!
How to connect Google Drive to Slack
The first thing you’ll need to do is hit this button:
Once your Workload Bot is connected, simply type “connect my GDrive” and authorize Workload to use permissions. This will help you control your activity from inside Slack.
Automate Google Drive Tasks
The beauty of using Google Drive is that it enables you to automate several tasks. The Drive folder can become the central file sharing and storage hub for your entire business. There is no need to download it if you are already a GSuite user. If you have GMail, chances are you already using Drive and don’t even know it. Click on the icon that looks like 4 squares near your account name on the top right. From there you’ll be able to access the app right from your email.
This app will enable you to do all sorts of neat things like:
- create and store spreadsheets to the cloud
- make presentations
- …and use Google Forms…another powerful automation tool!
Here is a short list of things you can do:
- Automatically save email (GMail or other) attachments
- Copy new Dropbox files to Google Drive (helpful if your customers aren’t using GDrive)
- Save Instagram posts to a specific folder
- Create text documents for Facebook Ad Leads
- Create Trello Cards from new Google Drive files
- Automatically send emails with new files from Google Drive
- Automate publishing videos to YouTube from Google Drive file uploads
WOW! This list just scratches the surface of what you can do once you sync with your Drive login.
